#6 Fucked up shit

"Argh...what the hell?" I muttered. I glanced at the clock it was quarter past 5. I threw the rug off me as I walked into the hall. I saw my sis screaming and my dad screaming back and my mom trying to calm the pair down. "Great!!now even shes awake!" my sister screamed and stormed out of the room.My dad tossed her phone on the table."Unlock this now!" and he left too. I stared at my mom "Ill tell you later just know that your dad over heard  your sister and Mark having phone sex. Stunned, embarrassed and slightly wanting to throw myself off from the balcony after hearing that.I glanced down at her phone.Unlocked it and kept it down." And you cant talk to him or his sister anymore" my mom said. I froze for a second and went for a bath. I left early to attend classes. On the way back I saw my father had come to pick me up. He decided to explain what  had happened earlier, Stating the sex call had been embarrasing and the messages were vulgar on many lines. I  was told to keep my distance from both of them especially Mark. 

Later that evening my dad had a talk with Marks mother and it was mutually decided the kids shouldnt speak                            anymore. After that day I expected never to hear from Mark till a few weeks later whenI decided to call him and know what    had happened as he hadnt got much say in the enitre matter. Here lied my biggest mistake in the entire scene.Not trusting my family and their view of what had happened. 

I dialled the number, the phone rang and then I heard his voice

#6 The confrontation

"Heya" I chirped in, I decided I'd act normal. "Babe, wasup?" "nothing much, long time I guess you must have  been busy" "Yes a bit, any specific reason you called?" "Oh well to tell you of this one funny incident I dreamt about, if u have the time to listen of course" I said. This was the first time I had ever lied too him. "Really? whats it about?" he mused. "Long story short you asked out my sister".There was a long pause. "Mark?" "Oh!hahaha real funny babe." "I know right?, Now what if that was to happen?". For the second time there was a long pause. "There's something I need to tell you."  he said."Talk" I replied in a curt tone.
Over the next hour, he told me how he and a friend of his had met my sister and her best friend over coffee and how he had taken an immediate liking and decided to ask her out. The proposal which my sister had obviously declined. He then went on to tell me the rejection may have had something to do with my sisters best friend who according to him was a bitch. At this point, I cut him short. "Bitch?"  "Yes! A lesbian bitch who may have obviously poisoned your sisters mind against me which obviously led to her saying no!" I silently giggled to myself, I obviously knew why my sister had said no, however good he was as a friend he possessed no great lover quality. "hmm I guess" I replied. "And about the lying thing..." I sensed he was coming to the part where he had lied to me to give an excuse for not meeting me. "Its cool buddy, oh anyway                                                                                                                                                                                                                     I gotto go bye!" "bye sorry again" "Its alright ill text you" " Okay" and I hung up. I sighed he really had hurt me by lying. I decided never to bring it up again as he may feel bad about hurting me.
           Now it was my  sisters turn. I walked into her room asked her why she hadnt told me she was taken aback at first, but quickly covered up by saying she didnt want to make it awkward.I let it be then.

Me and Mark got back to our usual conversations soon, even though he spoke much more to my sister I was happy about the way things were going, Life went on. Till that Sunday morning when I was woken up by shouting in the hall.

#5 His feelings

They got along better day by day, from friends to what seemed like a little more.I was busy in my school work so me and mark hardly spoke. If we ever did it was just a hi or something. It felt like he didnt care anymore. I did know he was rather fond of my sister but I didnt know what my sister felt about him. She was                                                                                                                           the  quite one so I wouldnt know what she was upto. It became more obvious day after day. One day   maybe after weeks mark called me up. Saying he was going to come back from University back home. Delighted I stayed happy the entire week. Even though we didnt talk much, atleast he did care. A few days later he called me up to tell me he wouldnt be able to see me. I didnt say a word, I just hung up.I decided to stop caring. A few weeks later I was sick of being ignored by both of them.None of them told me what was going on..ever it started to tire me and I  resorted to the bitch method of finding out.Checking my sisters phone. Looking back however much I regretted it then. Im thankful of it now as it linked alot together. I quickly scrolled through the messages and then shocked I stoepped, Mark had asked out my sister. My head stopped working for that moment. And then I laughed, not believing what I had just read. Well seeing the next message I laughed a bit more.She had rejected him, I was hurt, neither of them had mentioned this to me.I chucked the phone away and dialled Mark "hello?" he said. As he spoke, I knew this was going to be one long conversation

#4 Sister intervention

Things were going great, I was falling for him day by day, harder and harder. I didnt know what my feelings were for him yet, if i liked him as a friend or possibly more. I wasnt attracted to him physically, but there was something about him. Now that I look back, I guess it was my loneliness at that time which made me so blind towards his bad habits. He was a smoking addict, also he was addicted to his liquor. I tried getting him to quit but I doubt he cared. My sister saw my addiction for texting and being on the phone grow, I never  locked my cell phone then, it wasnt needed. One day when I reached home she told me she wanted to talk. She had checked my phone and seen the call logs and all of them had been labelled Mark. She had been sneaky enough to note down his number in her phone. My jealousy and insecurity instincts immediately played, for some odd reason I was angry for her daring to touch my phone. Maybe because I knew that they  would be really good together, maybe..I didnt want it. Maybe I wanted to be with him. Whatever it was it made me angry and upset. Later that evening I got to know she had texted him and duh they had got along well. I felt blank for some reason but I let it go thinking they both would be happy. I decided to put a stop to this Mark madness.

#3 Midnight conversations

I quickly replied to the text "hey, shocking that you texted me". The conversation continued after that, he was funny, quirky, slightly charming and just a  person you could go on talking to forever. He used to attend college outside  my city so he said he wanted to meet me one last time before leaving. Sadly we didnt manage but promised to go out after he came back. Once he went back to his own apartment where he attended college the few texts increased, calls started taking place. My school timings left me busy in the mornings till lunch while his university timings left him busy till 5 in the evening. Once he got home we used to call each other and talk till dinner. Post dinner the calls went on till midnight. At times I sneaked out to the balcony and spoke real slow just because my parents didnt know. We soon started living off each others calls. We tried to talk before I left for school till I finally fell asleep at 5 in the morning. A hour of sleep was all I needed when he was around. My mom knew I spoke to him often and she was happy that we were getting along well, afterall she was quite fond of him. I spoke to him all day long while walks, while eating, texted him while I studied. It was Mark all day long, Soon he started becoming the only person who loved me at that time. Things werent going great at school socially and nor did I have more then 2 people to talk too. When it came to him, everything about him, he was like this totally different person who actually understood me, understood what I went through. He was like this fresh breath of life who I seemed to live off. Well our peace was to be disturbed and that was going to happen soon.

2#The first meeting

I finally reached. We pulled in in front of a bungalow something really rare to see in Mumbai. I got out of the car and climbed up to the flat. We rang the bell, a few seconds later my moms best friend opened the door. I was dragged into a hug before I even entered. Slightly stunned I walked in to see a massive girl come through the passage. I soon recognized her to be the elder child and the only daughter Maxine, she pulled me into a hug after squealing how cute I looked. I blushed away as my mom teased me from behind that I wasn't cute but fat. An immediate disagreement rose as we laughed. A few moments later "Mark" emerged, the youngest child and yes the only son. There was something about his eyes. No he wasn't good looking he was slightly on the shorter side for a guy say 5'7 but, we stared at each other. It seemed as if I had known him forever even though we hadn't even spoken. He sat across the table. His sister chattering away and I nodding but our eyes meeting only each others glancing away when our parents spoke something. "So do you have a cell phone?" he asked "Yes, which kid doesnt" I shrugged as I flipped out my cell. It wasn't a big deal but atleast I had one. We three quickly shared our numbers. He said nothing but took it down gave me a missed call and that was it. I didnt know him..but that feeling I got. That urge to know someone? Well I got it by seeing him. We quickly said our goodbyes. And that was it. I was pretty sure I was never going to see him again so I gave him a last glance and got out. On the way back in the car I interrogated my mother about him. According to her he was a good person. A student of engineering who was average. But yes according to her his values were what mattered. For being 19 years old this guy was pretty sweet and not arrogant. Yes he was 5 years older to me. Now thinking back on that conversation I laugh values were something that guy never knew. But that's another story.
The same day, as soon as I reached home I got a text "hey I'm mark wassup?" Seeing that my heart fluttered, maybe I was going to get to know this guy afterall

1#Due to meet someone

It was like a regular day except my mom for the first time was taking me to her best friends house. I had been there before but I had never seen her kids who were much older then me. At that time I was an excited 14 year old so all I had too really do was look decent and yes I was good to go. Little did I know that my entire life was going to change soon after reaching there and meeting someone who would indeed change it all. I quickly put my lenses and pulled on a pair of jeans and got into the car with my mom laughing away, so carefree so happy. As the car drove away I was soon lost in the music till I reached their place

#Welcome to my reality

All this started the day I met him, this isnt a blogging story no its not one of those cheesy fake stories either. This story here is mine and yes its truthful and hard its like a dark side of me which I obviously cant talk about in public.And honestly I dont know what to do about it. I dont know if there are people who can reach out to me. Well probably there are 100000 people out there like me but I dont have people to talk to. Guess blogging about it could help if someone could respond.
